Taxi

lacking a "Jim" (Christopher Lloyd) character, we have the stocky dispatcher, Thomas sending himself out to run his grandson around to his rotten job. The grandson got a job and his training shows a shady group pushing junk. He needs the money and has nothing else to do. He was given an "opt out" option to take the money and run. Thomas suggested that he just lump it and do the class. The early morning trek has taken its toll on Thomas. His grandson isn't driving right now (no further details will be disclosed at this time), so Thomas pitches in.

Marcus, many months ago, chose not to pursue this company heavily as there was a notable "shadiness" about them.

How many companies ask you what you drive? I would suggest that most companies merely want to be sure that you have a licence and reliable transportation -- end of story.
