Lois was able to work on weeding today. She hadn't been able to do much of anything like that for a while. It was a large, though quieted victory. So, hurrah for Lois, and hurray for the new knees and the energy that comes with it. While full-out gardening is out of the question, plucking and planting here and there is in the realm of possibility.
For Thomas, swinging and clubbing are still yet to be done on a course. The guys all call to the fairway dieties for mercy and for weather where they can walk hours in the heat batting balls. Soon, the response is ... "soon", that and nothing more.
