Days of whines and roses. Boy is it hot! It'll get hotter, it's only 88 degrees and climbing with 110% humidity. Later, it will get in high nineties with the same humidity. How do I know it's this hot?
When you sweat, it should roll off you, but now it just adds to the growing film around you that really doesn't cool you off unless your hood surfing (riding outside the car/truck).
Lois and Diane went to another sewing class today as scheduled. Yesterday there was a glitch. The teacher didn't show, so a stand-in, the teacher whom they have today, winged it, knowing nothing of what was to be accomplished. Hey, subbing -- know about that! No news on why the teacher was a no-show.
Marcus begins his 5-day puppy sitting of the chewers, in that when they aren't chewing cords, wood, furniture, they are chewing a person or each other. They are cute, but it takes a long while to get them to settle down into cuddly-lovy little puppies. Much to my friends' displeasure, they are slowly consuming a rose bush, branch and trunk at a time. You'd think the thorns would be a distraction, a detterment, but no.
