Kersplat!

Hey! The coffee maker is spilling just everywhere. We tried to sop up the mess to no avail. Hold it! It's leaking all over everywhere. Man! The filter tray was missing.

So -- what happened?

There Diane was trying to win a bet with Jim that they would indeed need the coffee pots. Diane hastily put it together, but she doesn't drink coffee. It turned out bad ... really bad. Up stepped Marcus to hose off the rest of the unit after Bethy and Debbie mucked out the "stalls" as it were. In the end, four towels were spent cleaning up the mess.

Debbie declined coffee after that. She dully noted that amidst six flavors of soda, punch, water, milk, tea, iced tea ... coffee had to be made. There weren't enough choices!

In the background, not so quietly, people were trying to celebrate Jenny's graduation, but that is another story ... [dramatic music]
