Moan-day

beautiful skies ... cool breeze ... no complaints, save Marcus' car. The gears are slipping -- being a really old car, there is not point in fixing it. A new car is needed. Anyway,
Thomas and Lois went out with friends, whom they see rarely. They ate at a diner, redone in Statue of Liberty props and pictures. The owner is Greek, but highly patriotic. It's a testiment to the joy of one person's love for independance.

Marcus took time to try to photograph interesting things, but all things being even -- more remote locations were unavailable. Marcus stopped at the Allen County Verterans Shrine. He has been there before and photographed what's there, but this time with more sun. Here is a Korean War Memorial ... as large as the more remote Vietnam memorial. It's truly sad to see so many names -- those only from the area. There would be no green, but only bricks were each and every fallen person have his/her own brick here.

God bless them!
