Pool, cards, and the death of a toy

Diane asked for help putting up their pool. I helped, but the parts were looking shabby after 2.3 seasons stored. Diane ordered some spare parts, but not enough of the plastic ones ... oh, well. It takes 2 some days to fill the pool, due to low water pressure and size of pool.

Thomas and Lois play cards with friends and this weekend it was at their house. I haven't found out yet, but likely the girls won again ... winning 92% of the time. They had so much to eat there, no one I know would leave hungry, except by volition.

Marcus is dog sitting -- previous posts, and the dogs still bite and chew each other ad nausium. It was great in the morning ... 60s, but it took a long while to cool down in the afternoon. They took a nap, Marcus, though he needed one, did not. The dogs, in a typical gesture of battle, like crocodiles, teamed up to tear a toy to shreds ... the insides pulled out like scarecrow on the field.

The good thing is, that their impalers (teeth) are short in contrast to their wicked sharpness.
