Germanfest blast, not bust

Thomas and Lois met up with friends last night at Germanfest 2006 and had a good time. The brats, beer, sauerkraut, band were all okay. Their parking was close, weather cool, pleasant with breeze sprinkled with scents of bloom from the four blocks of trees. The park nearby had hawkers (sellers of stuff you don't need) and fountain users; across the lane, down in the slightly-elevated valley, a free fountain where children and adults romp and play. Summarized -- good eats, neat treats, progress (walking through mass patrons) grand feat!

Marcus in the meanwhile went to see Pixar's Cars, with friends and felt that it was okay, but just that. After that, he met up with them and their puppies who tumble over each other and bounce, bound and play. They love to jump, which is dangerous as they will be heavy and huge as adults -- relatively incurable habit by that time. They are rotweiler-German shepherd mix boy and girl from the same litter. Their preference is to play on top of a person, regardless whether the person is part of the play or not.
